Biography

Joaquim Falcó is a Catalan painter and engraver renowned for his vibrant fusion of pop art and abstract expressionism.Beginning his artistic journey at the age of nine under the tutelage of Estanislao Vilajosana, Falcó developed a distinctive style characterized by dynamic brushwork, bold colors, and textured surfaces. His work often features iconic imagery from popular culture, such as Coca-Cola bottles and Marilyn Monroe, reinterpreted through expressive techniques reminiscent of Jackson Pollock's action painting. With over 400 exhibitions worldwide, including showcases alongside Warhol and Lichtenstein, Falcó's art has been displayed in prestigious venues like the Coca-Cola Museum in Atlanta and the Ferrari Museum in Italy.
