Biography

Rubén Landini Enríquez is a multidisciplinary artist working across painting, sculpture, poetry, performance, and musical composition. His artistic journey has taken him from France and the U.S. to Spain, where he currently resides.

After receiving a scholarship from the Pablo Neruda XXI Association in 2020, Landini pursued his artistic education at the Institut des Beaux-Arts (ISBA) in Besançon, France. He graduated with Honorable Mention in Visual Arts in 2023, earning the highest academic distinction, “Très Honorable avec Félicitations du Jury.”

In 2023, he expanded his creative practice in Brooklyn, New York, where he worked under the mentorship of artist Cristina de Miguel. This experience deepened his unique visual language, fusing the vibrant colors of Mexico with the dynamic energy of New York.

In 2025, Landini will embark on an artist residency in Oaxaca, Mexico, at the studio of Rolando Calderon, preparing for his upcoming exhibition, "Neo-Mexican Humanism." This project will debut at the Mexican Consulate in New York and later at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Oaxaca, further solidifying his position as a rising figure in contemporary art.
