Biography
Juliana Plexxo (1994), a Colombian artist based in Barcelona, specializes in copper plate engraving, destroying each matrix after use to ensure the exclusivity of her works. Inspired by her childhood in Quito, Ecuador, her art delves into profound themes such as life, death, and the connection to nature.
 
She works at the legendary Joan Barbarà workshop and has participated in international murals and exhibitions worldwide. Recognized by Forbes as one of the 50 most creative people, she was nominated as Young Talent of the Year by the prestigious University of Berkeley. Her work, influenced by Latin American indigenous cultures and cubism, incorporated distinctive elements during her artistic residency at Studio 46. Plexxo advocates for respect for life, nature, and the empowerment of women in the arts.
